BUT this has no connection with the bad negative term Narcissist used by cr. female chatterboxes. God has infinite pride, naturally - but He has genuine pride in Himself, naturally. ONLY one FLATTERING definition has stuck with Me:

I now use the recording apps Dolby Voice Recorder and Easy Voice Recorder for recording My podcasts and iBall and JVD speakers for amplifying and fine-tuning My recordings for re-recording on Anchor app installed on one of My 4G smartphones (Samsung - Nokia - Motorola). RECORDING My Anchor podcasts and publishing them has become very easy for Me thanks to availabilty of affordably priced low-cost high-tech digital equipment in India. (Me and spouse use Airtel, Jio, Vodafone sims.)

I have not been able to discover the identity of Man Booker - reminds Me of Man Friday in the novel Robinson Crusoe.

It seems to Me that a coterie of top ghost writers formed a plan to give Man Booker prizes to themselves for fiction supposedly written by smart putative authors but actually written by this coterie of expert professional ghost writers! This is OK for readers and for smart putative authors who get a small amount from publishers.

EVERY TIME I HEAR Stephenie Meyer talk about her DREAM which gave her the idea of a blood-sucking Vampire, I am reminded of the celebrated dream of the German chemist Kekule which helped him solve the structure of the chemical benzene. As Kekule sat on a London double-decker* bus and kept puzzling over the baffling chemical structure of benzene that chemists were trying to crack, he fell asleep, and dreamed, and in his dream he saw a snake curling in a circle, its head swallowing its tail - EUREKA! - he woke up in ecstasy - Kekule had solved the structure of benzene!

*correct Me if I am wrong about the London bus he was riding on having been a DOUBLE-DECKER bus. As far as I remember, I read many years ago that the bus was a double-decker bus. (I have not checked Google sources.)

I cannot understand and appreciate fully what Stephenie Meyer says on YouTube about her YA vampire novel TWILIGHT and other novels because I have only purchased THE CHEMIST which I have been reading recently. I saw a boxed set including TWILIGHT at a local bookstore and it seemed too costly besides seeming to be juvenile fiction. (TWILIGHT seems to be very popular among American teenagers. It seems that the Vampire saved the heroine by stopping a VAN that was moving very fast toward the girl and would have hit and killed her if the Vampire had not stopped the fast-moving VAN with his hand.)

BIOLOGY EXPERT 

As I watched a Twilight video clip on YouTube - where the human-looking Vampire Edward (in a biology lab with Bella) looks through the eyepiece of a microscope at the specimen on the slide and says at once: PROPHASE! and after some time he looks again at the slide through the eyepiece and declares promptly: ANAPHASE! and again: METAPHASE! and Bella feels stunned - I got the impression that "Vampire" Edward Cullen is an expert biologist!

I remember that when I was a Ph.D. Teaching Assistant at UIUC dept. of physiology and biophysics, I had to teach biology practical to first year American students at UIUC - I never had biology in Indian colleges and universities and never did dissection before but I prepared for the class at UIUC - and one day I taught one of the students, a young American girl, the inner parts of a dissected white rat so thoroughly that when I asked her to name the inner parts of the dissected rat, she gave all the names correctly! 

I also remember that as a prerequisite to My receiving UIUC Ph.D. university scholarship, a young and very friendly white American researcher at UIUC dept. of physiology and biophysics was told to test Me on biology and he asked Me 10 biology questions and when I gave correct answers to all 10 questions he exclaimed in surprise: "WHAT A MIND!!!" (I continue to feel inspired by his heartfelt exclamation of genuine praise.)
