ADDING AUDIO TO BLOGGER POST 

After struggling for several days and almost feeling like giving up without some expert's help, I finally succeeded in uploading a recorded audio file on Blogger - but just before publishing the audio in My Blogger post, I checked the audio but did not hear the sound in the audio. I will keep trying, since I almost succeeded!

Several tutorial videos on YouTube in English and Hindi were very helpful, e.g.

I was on the verge of publishing the audio in My Blogger blog post when I failed to hear the sound. I did everything on Realme Pad (Tablet). Can an audio file in Blogger blog post be published only with a PC computer or laptop? (If so, I have a PC.) Perhaps the audio should be heard in HTML mode? By the way, the audio I used only as a sample was a short podcast I had earlier published on Anchor / Spotify for Podcasters (Podcast #260) - was that the reason for sound failure? But I thought My podcasts are not the copyright of Spotify. I might add that I do podcasting as a hobby, never for money. I have never been paid any money by Spotify nor have I ever asked for payment. I remember reading Google sources where Anchor stated that Anchor does not own the COPYRIGHT to any Anchor podcasts. (I am forever grateful to free Anchor app for helping Me to start My audio podcasts on Anchor.) Anyway, if Spotify (which has taken over Anchor) thinks it automatically owns the copyright to all podcasts by all podcasters who use Spotify for Podcasters regardless of no payment to some Podcaster, I am OK with that. No problem. I want podcasting to become popular worldwide and to grow and grow. I plan to start uploading fresh new audio podcasts, perhaps on Google Blogger posts because Google (and YouTube) have very wide reach. The very big advantage of being able to add AUDIO files to Blogger blog posts would be that I could add explanatory texts right near the audios that I include.

It seems that this tutorial explains why My audio file which I finally managed to add to My Blogger post today after a lot of frustration and heartbreak (really?!!) ended up in smoke (idiom). The tutor says (2:14-2:20): "As you can see, in this method [the first method that I used but without success] there is NO OPTION for "DOWNLOAD THE AUDIO" for your users." (I decided not to use capital Y but used small letter y instead in you and your after My humbling experience.) God only knows if I will be able to understand and use the awesome second method - awful seems the more correct word to use. It seems that in this particular case the proverbs "নানা মুনি নানা মত" and "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread" are true. I thought "play" and "download" meant the same thing. I was confused. - G

I have suddenly understood why adding AUDIO files to BLOGGER blog posts is so DAMN HARD and in fact such an extremely scary and frightening experience for those who dare to even try! My supercomputer mind went into action mode to discover the reason why adding audio to Blogger posts is so scary. As I said, I have suddenly discovered the SECRET reason behind this baffling puzzle. The reason is this: No one in the world except Me takes writing and publishing blog posts as seriously as I do. Google geniuses realized that if posting AUDIOS on GOOGLE BLOGGER were made VERY EASY like Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters, BLOGGER would be FLOODED WITH UTTERLY USELESS 'TIME PASS' AUDIOS BY TOM, DICK AND HARRY AND BY SITA, SAVITRI ETC. WHO WOULD NORMALLY STAY AWAY FROM WRITING AND PUBLISHING WORTHWHILE WRITTEN STUFF.

The guy may be an INSPIRING motivational speaker/self-motivational speaker or he is being POLITE or being SARCASTIC. My own estimate is that perhaps:

99 out of 100 blog posts are never read, or more bluntly:

999 out of 1000 blog posts are never read, or more bluntly:

9,999 out of 10,000 blog posts are never read, or more bluntly:

99,999 out of 100,000 blog posts are never read, or more bluntly:

999,999 out of 1,000,000 (1 million) blog posts are never read, or more bluntly:

Keep on adding 9 to the first item and keep on adding 0 to the second item to keep getting more and more BLUNT but more and more ACCURATE estimates!

I have got the impression from YouTube tutorials that uploading AUDIO files on YouTube is much easier than uploading audio on Google Blogger which will be a truly scary experience for many because of frightening HTML symbols (though a knowledge of HTML is not required at all). I finally mastered the scary method despite daunting-looking HTML and some things I did not know like why Google Drive kept "waiting for WiFi" (just change setting!). Uploading audio on YouTube seems to depend on Google Drive (very easy) and on the FREE tunestotube app!

[I learned recently that MP3 is for AUDIO file, and MP4 is for VIDEO file. Some YouTube tutorials say that any MP4 file can be EASILY changed to MP3 file by renaming the file - just by replacing 4 in MP4 by 3 to make it MP3 - but does this always work? It seems that we can change the setting to change MP4 to MP4a which is probably the same as MP3. But we can use a free MP3 recording app!]

A very funny video talk with hidden meaning if you read between the lines. By the way, I am not impressed by over-hyped exaggerated phony statistics used as a pathetic ad gimmick. (I am not interested in the number of times My blog posts are read or My podcasts are heard - whether zero or infinity, I don't care.)

OUR LEVELS DON'T MATCH

An affectionate soft-spoken elderly cousin sister - "didi" দিদি दिदि - consoled Me many years ago by telling Me not to worry because, after all, she explained, My very high intellectual level did not match the level of sp. I do not wish to cause emotional hurt but I believe that what is true of Me vis-a-vis sp./cl. is also true of Me vis-a-vis most of the human race. I do not say this out of "arrogance" or unjustified pride but because I have learned to face the painful and bitter truth.
