Stall No. 121 - Writer's Rack, Assam Book Fair, Khanapara, Guwahati, which will end tomorrow (January 7, 2025), is shared by four, so that the stall rent of Rs. 20,000 is SHARED by the four partners, each partner having to pay Rs. 5,000 rent - a nice example of FRIENDLY cooperation among struggling authors and publishers! The FOUR partners are: (1) Seller of four Assamese novels (on extramarital affairs) by ড: আকাশীতৰা; (2) Meitei Sahitya Sabha (no book in the stall!); (3) Bishnupriya Manipuri Sahitya Sabha, Assam; (4) Bishnupriya Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Assam. I try to encourage newbie authors and struggling publishers as far as possible.
